Experience on visit of election commission
Part of every teenager's life is dealing with hardships.Due to those hardships,they rarely get chance to remain updated about the condition of the country. Be it whether politics,resources and development.Considering these facts,we class 10 went to know about Nepal on how we should use our fundamental rights through election commission visit on 3rd Bhadra,2076 with 2 teachers.
The students were seen really enthusiastic to know about the political condition and how the election procedure is done in our country to sustain democracy in our nation.The journey began from 10:10o'clock and we eventually reached there at 10:40 o'clock.As soon as we reached there,we students were divided into two groups as we were 50 students.One of the teachers told us something about the politics before we moved inside. Then we saw some of the stuffs of the election like voters' list,Ballot paper,ballot box and so on.Then we went to the game room which was divided into five sections.We played game in an educational manner. After 30 minutes,we went to documentary room where we knew about about various facts of election,leaders' history and democracy.We knew that we should cast the vote after we cross 18 years of age and choose the appropriate representatives for our country.We knew that how first elected PM of our country B.P koirala was imprisoned by king Mahendra and Poush 1,2017 was regarded as the black day for our country.Then the class was again continued by mixing the students of both the sections.Th class was quite long i.e. 2 hours probably but was really informative for the students like us who needs to be remain updated about the circumstance country is going through.We knew how the leaders,Presidents and vice presidents are elected in a democratic way.
Then we did demo election to be awared on how election procedure is implemented.There were 3 candidates who stood for candicacy and other students became the officers of election commission like polling officer,observer
and so on.There was a machine to cast vote.And the most special part of this machine is that the votes gets never invalid because of it's special features.All the candidates shared their manifesto for the post.And eventually the winner was declared through the votes.In this way,we grabbed so many
facts about the politics and the responsibilities we all citizens have to fulfill before,during and after the election as an ideal citizen.
As usual,I'm very thankful to all the teachers who believed us and took
us to such a place where we could return back only with the knowledge we had gained.
